Ready Player One!

I have major anxiety.

I have major anxiety doing things.

And god forbid put a damn game in my hands – if it doesn’t hit off for me immediately, we’re going to have problems.

However… I’ve been slowly working through games, trying to figure out what works, what doesn’t, what things I can ease myself into; and ultimately be able to find a small trend of things I know I can handle and cannot. I mean, there can’t be only one of me who feels that way – so… that’s ultimately the goal of my blog.

For people who are bad at games, or have major anxiety dealing with them, to find something that fits. My goal is to try out and review various games among a variety of genres, though let’s just get it out of the way:

If any horror games come up, most likely my fiance had played it with me watching, and there’s definitely going to be a heavy lean towards music based or (J)RPG based games. I’m slowly getting back into fighting games, so you might see a few there.

Hopefully you’ll be able to find suggestions and things to try during my own journey.

On a side note — My title? Ultra super awesome book – Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, which about a kid who participates in a VR utopia called OASIS – and the fight to take on puzzles and other players to win an ultimate prize presented by the world’s creator… although there ends up being more dangers than just those.

I’ve already finished it and am hunting for a physical copy of the next book – Armada. Not a sequel, but with the style of Cline’s writing I’m still excited.

Anyways, enough about me… Keep an eye out for upcoming reviews and news.
